Valentine’s Day Centerpiece

With Valentine’s Day parties coming up I wanted to make a centerpiece that would be easy to make and still look nice. We are going to have a Valentine’s Day party for the Girl Scouts this week and I thought this would be perfect. Oriental Trading has everything you need to throw an awesome Valentine’s Day party.

Start by gently poking a hole straight through the box with your scissors.

Put them on your dowel rod like a shishkabob. Then add hot glue around the holes and lid so that everything stays in place.

I used scrapbook paper to decorate mine but you can use paint or anything to decorate them.

I hot glued that in place.

Leave some space at the end of the dowel rod for it to stick down into the pot. Add your rocks, beads or whatever you would like to keep the rod and hearts in place.

Ta-Da! This craft took about 10 min. from start to finish and will make a great addition to our Valentine’s Day party decor.

These boxes can honestly be decorated in so many different ways and used to hold a lot of different things. Thinking about purchasing any of these products from Oriental Trading? What will you make with yours?

I received some of the products in this post for free in exchange for my honest opinions.
