Pallet Shelf

Hello, thank you for stopping by to check out this easy pallet shelf post. I love doing pallet crafts but they are not always easy to find. I happened to find 3 little mini pallets at a local PetSmart, I was so excited! They are like baby pallets, yay me!

For this  project all you really need is:

  • A pallet
  • Sand paper
  • Hammer
  • Drill (optional)
  • Sisal string  (optional)
  • Gray stain  (optional)

Start by sanding your pallet.

I added 2 extra pieces of pallet wood to the sides and just nailed it on. Then I used gray stain to give it a little bit of color.

I love this color, I am going to be using it for a lot of projects in the near future.

Next I used my drill and made a hole in each side to place the string through. Then I pushed the string through and tied a knot in the end.

After I hung it up I noticed that one of the pieces of wood is curved a little bit. It’s a little uneven but I still think it looks great.

I am thinking that I like this better in the kitchen as a spice shelf. What do you think? Let me know below in the comments. If you like this post don’t forget to share. Thank you.

Love this! So pretty. I have a bunch of pallets in the garage. I built a pallet bookshelf for my daughter and a pallet beer shelf as well.
