Glitter Lampshade

Fancy Lamps can be expensive so buy a cheap one and decorate it or update one that you already have.

Materials

  • Lampshade
  • Mod podge
  • Glitter
  • Tape (optional if you want to make a design)
  • Acrylic finishing spray (optional)

Gather your materials and lets begin.

Start by taping off the sections you want to keep glitter free. If you want to cover the whole lampshade then skip this step. Also you can spray paint the lamp shade a color first and then let dry and tape.

Paint on the Mod Podge.

Then add the glitter. Apply it anyway you see best. Please note that glitter is messy so be prepared. I have found that the best way to clean it up is a lint roller.

Remove the tape and let dry. Here is where you can apply the finishing spray to keep the glitter from falling off.
