Bubble Wrap Sunflower Craft

I am loving this spring weather! The sun is shining and it is warm enough to sit outside without a jacket. Echo and I decided to do a little craft today out on the porch. Of coarse, when I need a little help finding a cool craft I go to Pinterest and today I found the inspiration for this craft Here. I made a couple of little adjustments though.

Well, let’s get started.

Materials needed:

  • Paper plate
  • Yellow and brown or black paint
  • Green paper
  • Bubble wrap
  • Scissors
  • Paint brush
  • Glue

First, you should start by cutting the ends of your plate into petals, kind of like cutting a V into it.

Next, start to paint the plate yellow. You don’t need to paint the middle because you will be covering that part up. I love working with my lovely little crafter.

Cut your bubble wrap into a circle, glue it down, and then paint it brown (check out my rhyme).

Cut a strip of green paper and glue it to the back of the plate. Let it all dry and you are done.

This is such a fun craft to do on a nice spring (or almost Spring) day. What other sunflower crafts do you like to do?
