Hello! I’m Ashley and welcome to Chubby Bunny Creations. I started this blog after being a stay at home mom for 5 years, as a way to sort of find myself again. I was feeling lost in the day to day life of being “only a mom” and wanting to do something for myself. I love crafting, sewing, and exploring new things with my family and I am so excited to share all of that with you.
Chubby Bunny Creations is a place for enjoying DIY crafts, health and beauty tips, family life and more! I want this blog to inspire other women find their inner creativity and save money in the process.
I am a proud mommy of 2 kiddos Wyatt& Echo.
Wyatt (6 years old) is a happy and high spirited kid, he is a little rough and tough sometimes but he has the biggest heart in the world. Wyatt was recently diagnosed with Autism. At first I was afraid the label would define him as a person and now I am starting to realize that his differences are one of his greatest assets. He is definitely difficult to handle sometimes but we do the best we can and have lots of fun along the way.
Echo (5 years old) is the happiest girly girl I know. She loves to sing and dance, being a princess when she grows up is high on her to do list. She has so much life and love in her, she inspires me everyday. Yep, I have awesome kids.
Brett is the children’s father, the love of my life, and my best friend. Notice I didn’t say husband, that’s because we are not married. We have been doing the common law thing for about 8 years. There have been MANY ups and downs but there is no one else I would rather wake up to in the morning and fall asleep with every night. Brett is also an IT master, he helps me with a lot of behind the scenes blog problems I run into. He is one of the smartest people I know.
I feel very lucky to have such an amazing family.
I can’t forget our adopted family members.
Skye & kinky
Skye is our extremely viscous 1 year old pit bull, not really she is the biggest love ever. She loves everyone and we adore her. Kinky is our 6 month old Bengal kitten who we adopted as a therapy pet for out son. Bengal cats are said to be hypoallergenic and since my son loves cats and is allergic kinky is a purrfect fit.
Cuddles & Puddles
Our fuzzy little ducklings. They are growing so fast, soon they will be full grown. Stay tuned for the gender reveal.

Fun fact about the blog:
Why the name Chubby Bunny? When my kids were babies they were so chubby their rolls had rolls. Who doesn’t love a chubby baby? I mean, come on. That soft little fluff is just adorable. I called them my little chubby bunnies, and there grew the name Chubby Bunny. It’s all for them.
I would love to hear from you all so please feel free to comment or email me. Thanks for stopping by.
