8 Reasons You Should Start Dry Body Brushing

What is dry brushing? Well, the name literally says it all. You use a soft/medium bristle brush and brush your skin, while it is dry. It is that simple! I am not sharing this with you to try to advertise some new health trend. I have been dry brushing for about 2 years and I love it. I love how it makes my skin feel and that it has many other positive effects on my body that I can even see. I would recommend that anyone give it a try!

How It Improves Your Body

  • Reduced Cellulite
  • Tightens Skin
  • Releases toxins
  • brightens skin
  • exfoliates
  • Improves circulation
  • Stimulates the lymphatic system
  • Opens pores

Tips For Using A Dry Brush

1.Use a natural bristle brush

Synthetic bristle brushes can damage skin cells.

2. Make sure that your skin is dry

It wouldn’t be called dry brushing if it were done while wet.

3. Do not brush your face

I would use a different method to exfoliate and detox your face.

4. Best time to do it is before a shower

I would recommend that you dry brush without clothes in front of a mirror. I start at me feet and work up. I also spend a little more time on any areas that I want to tighten or reduce cellulite.

5. Brush towards the heart

If you are starting at your feet, work up. If you are starting at your neck, work down.

I dry brush everyday and I always use a natural lotion following my shower.

This is the brush that I bought. It is high quality, easy to clean and affordable.
